Who am I

 Hi all,

My name is Simon from Toronto, Canada. I am starting this blog to document my journey to financial freedom and also where I am heading next.

I started this journey when I was first unemployed over a decade ago. My fiance and I at the time just bought a house and we have 10k to our name. In 2019, I  become unemployed again. But, this time we have 1.5M (approx) to our name. We're definitely in a better position to ride out the pandemic, but we have bigger dreams.

I want to share with the world my learning and how we became more financially free in Canada. 

Also, I am not a journalist and writing is not my forte. I will do my best to be grammar error free and will get better over time!
